Cummins Ram owners no longer need to retrofit a medium-duty turbocharger and sacrifice throttle response (the dreaded "turbo lag"): Edge's Jammer BB Turbo provides both fast spool-up for snappy acceleration and increased airflow to help keep EGTs down -- especially while towing. This turbo has a proprietary housing that's engineered for smooth power delivery throughout the range, particularly off-idle, where other aftermarket enhancements can increase tailpipe smoke from unburned fuel.

The BB in this turbo's name is for its ball-bearing technology. Compared to conventional bronze thrust bearings, the Jammer BB's ceramic ball bearings have 50 times greater thrust capacity, spool up 25% faster and are more resilient under high-temperature shut-offs. Designed with towing in mind, the Edge Jammer BB Turbo adds 25 HP to stock Cummins applications and supports up to 500 rear-wheel HP to enhance other aftermarket tow-and-go upgrades such as an Edge engine module (EZ, Comp or Juice With Attitude), a cam plate and high-flow Edge Jammer injectors (1994-98 12-valve Cummins).

While not ideal for high-horsepower (500+) heavily modified motors, the Jammer BB makes an ideal replacement for the stock turbo or for the driver looking to take the next step beyond a chip, intake and exhaust but still wants every-day drivability and towing performance.
